Bloom & Besom- A Botanical Broom Making Workshop

In this workshop, we will create our own besoms, traditional handmade brooms that have long held both practical and symbolic meaning. In witchcraft, besoms are often associated with cleansing, protection, and clearing away what no longer serves us.

But this isn't just about making a pretty broom.

I want you to make it yours.

I will teach you how to build your besom using broom corn and a natural wooden handle, but the really special part comes from what you choose to add to it.

You are encouraged to bring your own foraged pieces, dried flowers, herbs, feathers, charms, crystals, ribbons, or little found objects to incorporate into your broom. Maybe it is something you found on a walk. Maybe it came from your garden. Maybe it is something that holds a memory or represents something you are bringing into this next season.
